This summer, to celebrate the 2026 World Cup, we’re bringing back one of the most controversial pizza we’ve ever put on our menu. Drum roll please… The Americana!

Now this has also been the MOST asked for returning pizza and we get it, it’s a banger. However we need to clear something up first. This is not us defying the Neapolitan pizza gods. This is a genuine, classic pizza from Napoli that generations of Italian kids have grown up eating. Walk into pizzerias across Italy and you’ll spot it on almost every menu.

When we first had it in Italy, we couldn’t quite believe it either. Chips on pizza felt wrong. Hot dogs felt even worse. But trust us, and not to get all ‘Bourdain’ about it, the combo of the milky mozz with the smoky sausage and salty chips is THE ONE!

It’s comforting, nostalgic and somehow ridiculously good. Proper football-watching food.
